I trusted Sam, with Perpetual Aesthetics to help me with the search engine optimization for my website. I am looking through Google typing in different combinations of words that my customers might be typing in and the this is the first one I typed in and I'm number 2 after a total of 5 days. On smart phone searches i'm #2 as well. The calls are coming in like cray, people are filling out the form to request bids online. Who would have thought that so many people would be typing in "Hillsboro OR Bathroom Remodel" I am going to keep searching these key phrases and I'll continue to update this blog so that you can see how good this company is doing and where I am listed under. So far I am extremely happy with this whole ordeal.
Hens and chicks? Chicks n Hens? I forget exactly what they are called but they are wonderful little succulents that grow really well in Oregon. They grow really well on rock walls and seeming impossible places, and they spread rapidly (or semi-rapidly-ish) on their own. These little plants fractal out from the center like a lotus flower which makes them awesome to look at and a great idea for an extremely affordable remodeling or "sprucing up" idea for the outside of your home. The shape and beauty of the little cousin of a cactus is the reason why I refer to them as the Lotus of the Pacific NW. If you have an ugly ruck wall, or something in your yard that could use a little green but you are the situation where you don't even have a dime you should still be able to get a good patch of these things going. Walking around SE Portland, Aloha, Beaverton, Forest Grove or other neighborhoods you will see these growing on walls right near the sidewalk. I'm not suggesting you steal, I'm suggesting that you help one of the surrounding plants by giving it a little more room to grow and while you are at it, you may as well do the right thing and plant the little guy that you uprooted in your own yard. See, everybody wins. If you do this 5 or ten times and plant them, in a year or two your eyesore will look just like the picture above. That's all the easy DIY Remodel tips for now.
Prior to Allowing a Contractor to Begin Remodeling or Start Any Other Project Check For the Proper Credentials
There are important laws set in place by the state of Oregon for your Protection
Taggart's Remodeling has almost more experience in bathroom and kitchen remodeling than any other contractor in the Beaverton or the Portland metro area. Of course in our time we have seen it all, including botched jobs performed by lousy general contractors who ended up not having insurance or a license. Out for a quick buck, these types of "remodeling contractors" rush jobs, use poor quality materials lie about experience and do not actually care about client satisfaction the way that Taggart's Remodeling cares about each and every one of our clients .
Not all general contractors or remodeling contractors or even specialty contractors care for their clients the way Taggart's Remodeling does. Our clients trust us because we have given them many reasons to over several years. Being in the business of residential remodeling, repair and construction while also being part of a family that has been trusted in Beaverton and the Portland Metro area for so long is extremely rewarding. We have a lengthy list of happy clients. and our reputation as a trusted general contracting and a whole house, bathroom or kitchen remodeling company is very important to us. Decades ago Taggart's Remodeling realized that treating local home owners in Beaverton, Hillsboro and the whole Portland OR area is an essential part of staying in business. Neighbors talk a lot and even more so about things that go wrong. One bad remodeling job or one bad review can ruin a general contractors reputation forever.
At Taggart's Remodeling we value our community and your opinions about us. If you are going to talk with your neighbors we want to make sure that your remodeling project went well and that you have nothing bad to say. Typically our clients are so happy that their neighbors end up calling us as well when they are looking to get a remodel done, or they have a different job which requires a general contractor. Tuff jobs cant be trusted to just anyone, not everyone can handle it but they know we can . We have worked hard for many years to earn the reputation as a trustworthy remodeling and general contractor. We have a buildzoom score of 105 which ranks us as an expert general contractor in the top 5% of general contractors in the state of OR. Call a trustworthy general contractor the first time, it will save you some frustration and a whole lot of money in the long run. Taggarts remodeling would love the chance to earn your trust and be the remodeling contractor and general contractor that you will call again and not have to hesitate about referring your friends and family too.
Step 2 will be for those of you who have the time to build your own website, or for those of you who want to know how to ask the right questions to a website company who you are considering hiring.
Great job, you have a website. Now you want your website to work for you. Hopefully, if you built it your self you have a really good idea how to build the website while keeping SEO in mind.
SEO or search engine optimization means optimizing your website so that it is easily found on search engines. (realistically we only care about Google).
While building your website or choosing a company to build it for you, you have to be very careful. If you only want a website that will be looked at by current customers or people who you plan on sending there none of this really matters. If you want a website that will actually attract clients and help get them scheduled, if you want your website to be your best salesman, this stuff is very important. Starting the website off on the wrong foot, or choosing a company that doesn't built it right to begin with is a huge mistake and could cost you more money down the road should you decide that a working website is important. It's much easier to build it right in the first place than going back and fixing a million errors.
Here's the picture: you're a thirty something in the Portland area. You, your fashionably bearded husband, and your suspender-wearing baby have moved into, what you greatly wish to be, your dream home. Yet in the quaint suburbs of Beaverton, OR, you find your "dream home" to be quite outdated. It's time for you to remodel. It's time for some DIY!
Remodel your entryway with mason jar light covers. Freshen up your bathroom by framing your mirror and replacing the faucets. Shag carpet can become stained hardwood. Every one of these is an easy DIY.
Remodel that drab kitchen with trendy chalkboard painted cabinets, for recipes, and space saving hooks for your pots and pans. As for the bathroom remodel? Pick up an old French door with cracked paint off the Free ads to stain and use as the shower enclosure. That particular DIY can be a perfect messy, romantic couple moment.
Maybe you aren't the trendy couple, maybe your house just needs the remodel to bring it alive. These DIY projects are easy and reasonably inexpensive. Bring your Beaverton home the hot, new trends of Portlandia. Do it yourself. Welcome the remodel.
Bruce here, with Taggart's Remodeling of Beaverton Oregon. Of course we service Aloha, Hillsboro and the entire Portland metro area. We have been helping Beaverton homeowners with all phases of residential construction including roofing, decks, fences, flooring, new construction, garages and additions but our main focus has always been bathroom and kitchen remodeling. Bathroom and kitchen remodeling has always been a passion of mine and a bathroom or a kitchen remodel can really raise the value of a house before putting it up for sale. If you get a great deal on a house a bathroom remodel or a kitchen remodel can really make your budget home into something you will love to live in. Love your house but getting tired of the look, a bathroom or kitchen remodel can make you fall in love all over again. For over four decades Taggart's remodeling and the taggart family have been making Beaverton residents smile from ear to ear. 40 years of making people happy with excellent new remodels is something that newer contractors will not have for a long time. It takes a lot of learning from mistakes to gain the experience needed to treat customers right, and the values of people have changed quite a bit in the last 40 years as well. Although many things have changed, quality workmanship will always stay the same. Taggart's remodeling is a name you can trust for all of your bathroom and kitchen remodeling needs.
aS LONG AS I HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS, I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO LET MY COMMUNITY KNOW THAT i EXIST. i AM A GENERAL CONTRACTOR IN THE PORTLAND METRO AREA, WHICH IS A TOUGH MARKET. i TRY TO FOCUS MAINLY IN THE WEST HILLS, BEAVERTON, ALOHA, HILLSBORO AND THE WEST SIDE OF PORTLAND.
i THOUGHT I HAD TRIED EVERYTHING TO MARKET MY BUSINESS AND I JUST NEEDED TO WAIT. tHE ONLY ADVERTISING I HAD TRIED WAS AN OPPORTUNITY SOLD TO ME OVER THE PHONE BY SOME KID OFFERING A TOP SPOT ON GOOGLE UNDER COMMONLY SEARCHED PHRASES SUCH AS THINGS LIKE "BEAVERTON CONTRACTOR" AND "BEAVERTON REMODEL" OR "PDX KITCHEN REMODEL"
i DO NOT THINK I GOT A JOB DIRECTLY FROM THE PROGRAM, BUT I DIDN'T ASK EVERYONE SO I'M NOT SURE. i DID END UP FORGETTING ABOUT IT AND GETTING OVER CHARGED. i HAD A WEBSITE FEATURING INCORRECT CONTACT INFO FOR MY BUSINESS AND WAS TOTALLY LOST.
i WAS EVENTUALLY CONTACTED BY A GUY NAMED SAM, WHO OWNS A LOCAL WEBSITE COMPANY IN PORTLAND CALLED PERPETUAL AESTHETICS. WWW.PERPETUALAESTHETICS.COM
HE BUILT THIS WEBSITE FOR ME, GOT ME ONTO GOOGLE MAPS, BING MAPS, FACEBOOK, LINKEDIN, YELP, HAS ME LISTED ON YELLOW PAGES.COM AND A WHOLE LOT OF OTHER ONLINE LISTINGS.
HE HAS DESIGNED ME A COMPANY LOGO, BUSINESS CARDS, TRUCK MAGNETS AND DOOR HANGERS. hE HAS TAUGHT ME HOW TO USE ALL OF THIS SOCIAL MEDIA TO MY BENEFIT AND HE CHARGED ME ALMOST NOTHING. A FRACTION OF WHAT ANY OTHER COMPANY WOULD HAVE CHARGED, PROVIDED THAT OFFERING ME ALL OF THESE SERVICES AND TEACHING ME HOW TO USE THEM IS EVEN AN OPTION.
i TOLD SAM THAT THE FIRST ENTRY IN MY BLOG WOULD BE A MENTION TO HIM AND HIS BUSINESS FOR ALL OF THE HELP I HAVE RECEIVED. THANKS AGAIN!!
